Subash Vasu Pillay is a seasoned corporate trainer and consultant with over three decades of cross‑functional experience in Human Resources, Operations, and Logistics/Warehousing across the manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors. He brings a strong blend of hands‑on industry expertise, management insight, and structured training delivery — shaped by years in multinational environments.
He has held leadership roles in Japanese electronics manufacturing, Singapore‑based EMS, Japanese 3PL operations, and European manufacturing before being headhunted in 2011 as a pioneer HR Manager for Foxconn Technology Malaysia, part of the Hon Hai Group, the world’s largest EMS provider.
During his decade at Foxconn, Subash led key organizational initiatives, including the implementation of the RBA Code of Conduct and the company’s first ISO 9001 QMS certification. His specialization spans Employment Laws & Practices, ESG, RB, SEDEX/SMETA, FSC, and ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001).
Since transitioning into full‑time consultancy and training in 2021, Subash has delivered programs and advisory services in Social Responsibility & Accountability, ESG, SDGs, EHS, Human Resource Management, and multiple ISO schemes. He is also competent in conducting first‑ and second‑party audits for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RBA, and FSC.
He has trained and consulted for organizations such as IOI Plantation Group, Foxconn Group (Malaysia & Singapore), Universal Cable Berhad, Fu Yu Corp Group, Whitehorse Industries Group, Future Synthetics Group, Mitsui‑Soko Group, and others across diverse industries. He has also co‑conducted training in Vietnam for an American multinational.
Multilingual and culturally adaptive, Subash is fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and conversant in Tamil, Malayalam, and Bahasa Indonesia. He is a member of the Training Provider Association of Malaysia (TPAM) and a lifetime member of the Malaysian Corporate Trainers Development Association (MCTDA).
